Delightfully wacky re-cut trailer. The ’71 original is great. Makes me want to become a stoner just to watch it again. Maybe I could make it a Wonka and 2001 double-feature.
You know, awesome as he is, Depp clearly didn’t do enough drugs to appreciate this classic. Had he, he would have known enough to leave it alone. That, or he was toking up with the people who wanted to wreck (remake) the Grinch. Next thing you know, they’ll want to redo The French Connection or The Conversation. Who knows, may be a Godfather remake is even on the horizon. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
