wow i was going to invent this, they should come standard on all chairs, since my last one was 14 grand.

The company behind this (Dynamic Control) are a division of Invacare, and they supply wheelchair and scooter controllers to other manufacturers. So you may find that you can use this product with your existing chair.
I can see that this could be useful for moving a chair around when you’re not sitting in it, but outside, how could you use this without putting your iPhone on display? Sounds like an easy way of losing it.
