In episode #82 of No Free Rides, Tiffiny is joined by Jane Hash, a fun-loving woman with Osetogenesis Imperfecta who hosts her own podcast and is making a documentary about her one-of-a-kind life.

As a practicing pagan and certified herbalist, not to mention being only 2’7″ tall, to say Jane Hash’s life is “unique” would be a understatement. Her badass attitude and dark humor make her one of my favorite guests yet. The cajones she has to be who she is, openly and with no apologies, is an example for everyone. Jane is also a political activist, a blogger and is finishing up filming a documentary about her life that’s taken nearly 3 years to complete titled, Plain Jane.

Also in this episode, Tiffiny talks about two of her recent blogs, including her blog on the creepy documentary that discusses disability in North Korea, The Red Chapel, and the upcoming reality show featuring four women who use wheelchairs that’s premiering on the Sundance Channel in April - Push Girls.

She’s a returning guest and is a performer, does impov, directs, and posts the best Facebook statuses you’ve ever read (“Reading about Human Sexuality while watching Season 1 of The X-files” or “I wish I was a toddler in a tiara”). 12/27/10: Swedish wheelchair thieves tracked in snow

You can not make this stuff up. Two thieves in wheelchairs from Helsingborg, Sweden made the lamest escape attempt ever after stealing merchandise from a storage unit. Their tracks were picked up so easily, “We didn’t even need a police dog,” said local authorities.

LOL. I can respect these guys for having the gumshin to attempt putting on such a hardcore veneer, despite their “harsh physical impediments” and everything, but COME ON. There are just some things you have to realize you can’t do when you can’t walk, like The Time Step (tap dance step), Pogo sticks, and kicking someone in the balls. And thieving and “running” for it? Yeah that’s included, you Norsies.

In case you were dying to know, the diversity glass ceiling was broken in the leather-bound S&M world last May, when Tyler McCormick, a wheelchair-user from New Mexico, won the title of International Mr. Leather 2010. He’s also transgendered and no lie, has perfected the art of mooning from his wheelchair (if Hitler isn’t rolling in his grave right now, he will be soon).
