What Stacy Zoern, a lawyer, just pulled off down in Pflugerville, Texas should be on front page of The Wall Street Journal. She just moved a Hungarian wheelchair smart car manufacturer to Texas.

A new reality show “Push Girls,” featuring four female wheelchair-users, has been green-lighted by the Sundance Channel. The show will change misconceptions of disability and so much more.

I’m so freaking excited about this show. I’m friends with one of these ladies (Tiphany) and I can guarantee this will make for some good TV, and will do so much to help show the world that we can still be beautiful and sexual. Is it finally happening? To the show’s producer Gay Rosenthal, I give you a cookie.

12/17/11: The Laurent House – 1940′s accessibility by Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright was commissioned by paralyzed vet William Laurent in 1949 to build this historic 2,500 sq ft home, and now it will become a museum.

It’s not everyday you realize an architect you’ve loved for years created a wheelchair-accessible home years ago and you never knew it until like, 2 days ago. Check out this amazing home built with honeyed wood, consisting of gorgeous lines, and custom furniture. Read my blog for New Mobility

12/14/11: Paraplegic ready to make historic trek to the South Pole

Grant Korgan, a para from Nevada, is off on a 100 mile trek to the South Pole, where he’ll be sit-skiing 10 miles a day for 10 days straight. If he makes it, he’ll be the first person with paralysis to do so.
