News ~

- Once again, we came and conquered CONvergence (2008). Nico headed CON's first ever recycling program, and for this he gets the honorary title of "MN Zissou Member with the Most 'Gumshun.'"

Keep to your right!

We are the official Minnesota Chapter of the Freshwater Team Zissou Society. We can be seen around the Upper Midwest cleaning up area lakes, visiting water-based educational museums and/or programs, or wearing our official uniforms spreading the word on the importance freshwater sources.

We also have fun, and make appearances at local watering holes. And no, we do not carry Glocks. They are not necessary on bodies of freshwater (no pirates). Instead, we carry compasses, flares, cell phones, and filet knives.

Our last appearance in the year 2007, was at the Uptown Theater in Minneapolis, MN on 10/12, to watch "The Darjeeling Limited." We were interviewed by local publication, Southwest Journal, whilst journeying to the theater (we can be found being interviewed in a video in their "Multimedia" section entitled, "What are you up to? October 19th, 2007."

We support all Wes Anderson films to their fullest, even Hotel Chevalier.  

Our first official appearance was at CONvergence 2007 in Bloomington, MN, and it was a success! We found two willing unpaid interns, who bought our $10 official buttons.
